| This past July Bill and I
finally made it to North Carolina to visit my youngest son Jason and his
wife Sonya. I had only seen Jason once in 4 1/2 years and that was
this past November when he drove to Tennessee to spend Thanksgiving with
Bill and I at Bill's sister Gretchen's house. I had not seen Sonya
since the day after she and Jason were married almost 5 years ago. These two young adults have done so well for themselves and I can't tell you how proud I am of them. Sonya finished her degree in Criminal Justice and is now a Deputy for the county they live in and is the Liaison between the High School and the Police Department. Jason is working as a truck driver with plans on returning to the Marine Corp. as a reservist. Much to my delight, they informed me that they are now going to start a family ..sooo perhaps in a year I will have a new Grand Baby to spoil! We spent a lot of time visiting and getting to know each other. Sonya and I, and Bill, Jason and Sonya. They are great kids and we had a wonderful time with them.
