For the most part, we did very little
in Myrtle Beach. We did drive what I guess is the
"Strip" in Myrtle Beach proper, we didn't stop.
There was much to see, but it was so crowded that we couldn't
find a place to actually stop. Prior to getting to the
Beach, we did stop at my daughter-in-laws favorite place,
Alligator Adventure. I was a little skeptical at first,
but this place is amazing. It of course has Alligator's,
but so much more. It was a beautiful day and we spent the
largest part of it there. After we left there we went to
the Beach.. sort of, when we couldn't find any place to stop for
a minute, we did what most tourist do, went shopping!! We
hit the Outlet Mall, and had a wonderful time spending our
money!! |

Above is Jason and his wife at the
Alligator Adventure entrance. And of course Bill, looking
the part of a Southern Gentleman...with his Panama Hat! |

As mentioned before, they didn't just
have Alligators. There was a beautiful Aviary and
wonderfully hued birds of all kinds. As shown below, they
also had some wonderful specimens of Tigers. I've been to
several zoo's and the like but I have never seen the big cats in
such great condition. This place obviously knows how to
take care of them, they were beautiful and majestic. |

And here are the Alligators, from the
smallest to the largest, and one very strange one.. |

The poor fellow below was born without
a tail so he can't be in the water since the tail is what helps
them navigate as well as help keep them afloat. He has a
name too... it is Bob.. since that's what he does in the water
without a tail!! |
